Cascade Companies was established in 2003 with a simple mission statement:

"To make life easier for animal care facilities by providing innovative, high quality products, with superior customer service, at fair prices."

We quickly discovered that our first two product lines -- pressure washing systems and noncorrosive detergents, disinfectants, and deodorizers also were very environmentally friendly.  We save our clients money with these products, but we also greatly reduce their water usage, chemical consumption, and waste stream volume.

We are proud to have shelters, kennel boarding facilities, and veterinary clinics of all sizes and from all over the nation as our clients.  We are even more proud when they tell us how much they love our products!

About Sharon:

Sharon Floistad learned to love her work in the animal care industry from a great teacher -- her husband. Paul Floistad has been with Snyder manufacturing for 28 years and Sharon has been with Paul since they were high school sweethearts.  

Prior to forming Cascade Companies, Sharon was a risk management professional in the public sector where she developed and managed self-insurance and safety programs. After nearly twenty years in commercial insurance and risk management she had the opportunity to own her own business in an industry which makes going to work every day a pleasure!
 
Sharon and Paul have two sons in college. Paul and Sharon love to travel and have transitioned from backpacking the Rocky Mountains when they were first married to now having a comfy travel trailer. Sharon also enjoys reading and crafts (card-making and crocheting) in her spare time which is usually on a few long weekends camping.
